“Mi asterisco” is a graphic and urban design project aimed at raising awareness of gender diversity, embracing it and defending it in all its forms.
Developed as part of a Graphic Design course, the project also extended into the city of Turin, presenting the group as an advocate for the LGBTQ+ community and celebrating freedom of expression.
The project involved the creation of the entire brand identity, including stickers placed throughout the city, posters, postcards, and our manifesto.
For the Sound Design course, I recreated the first few minutes of Sentence to be a hero completely from scratch, keeping only the original voices of the characters.
Through sound, I wanted to heighten the emotions of each scene and make the viewer feel more immersed, showing how timing alone can create tension and adrenaline, even without a soundtrack.
In a world where being a hero is a condemnation, a hero is no longer a salvific figure. No. A hero is an absolute evil born from his own sins, condemned to sacrifice his life in defence of the “Forces of Light”.
If you are a hero, you are scum upon whom death can never descend, and for the rest of your life you must serve those who condemned you with the sentence of being a hero
