What do I want to do?
Wa—what a complicated question.
What I would like to do is allow people to see something and be amazed by it. To find beauty in those little things, even the everyday ones, that I notice myself—for example, in the illustrations on Yu-Gi-Oh! cards, even cards worth just a few cents.
I find it exciting how certain things can become so fascinating in someone else’s eyes, and how, with very little, you can create something that leaves people speechless. I want to give people emotions. I want to show and make them hear something beautiful, something that makes them say, “Wow.”
I want to work in the field of graphic design and illustration, constantly improving my skills, while also bringing music into my work—making an image or a project come alive through sound, making it shine.
I would like to continue studying sound, creating sound effects for animations, and allowing anyone to experience that same sense of wonder I feel when animation, sound, and music come together.
In my sea, I have these goals, surrounded by seaweed made of everything I have learned—each strand representing something I can do, and perhaps even something I can hide behind. I think too much. I cannot afford not to have a small shield to protect me from my own thoughts.
What I want is to stop being afraid of creating and asking, of doing and thinking, simply because I swim and often follow my instincts. They guide me through the most difficult currents, even if they do not always allow me to react properly to what happens around me.
I do not blame myself for that. Quite the opposite. My instincts have always allowed me to improve, to keep going, and to survive the little things in life.
